On Wednesday, 26 March 2025, an important IPL match was played between the defending Champions KKR and the RR.
As we know both the teams have lost their respective 1st match of the season and thus both were eyeing for the 1st win of the season.
In 1st match, KKR lost to RCB and RR lost to SRH. But now KKR has won its second match making a good comeback with this win in season 2025 of IPL.
Outstanding performance by Quinton de Kock
Quinton de Kock, a KKR opener scored 97 runs in 61 balls. He smashed 6 sixes and 8 boundaries during his inning. The beautiful knock played by Quinton de Kock led KKR to the 1st win of this season.
However, in 1st match he was not able to get to the mark but this time he performed brilliantly. Although he was not able to complete his century he was not out at the end.

Match Details
KKR won the toss and elected to field. RR was able to score only 151 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 9 wickets.
RR Performance
RR's highest run scorer was Dhruv Jurel scoring 33 runs of 28 balls.
Earlier openers were not able to perform much as Yashasvi Jaiswal scored only 29 runs off 24 balls and Sanju Samson scored only 13 runs off 11 balls.
Then came the team's captain who scored 25 runs of 15 balls.
4 RR players were out on single-digit scores.
While talking about bowling only Wanindu Hasaranga took 1 wicket.
KKR Performance
Vaibhav Arora, Harshit Rana, Moeen Ali, and Varun Chakravarthy all took 2 wickets and Spencer Johnson took 1 wicket.
KKR's opening pair out of which we discussed earlier is Quinton de Kock, whose 97 runs were outstanding. The other opening partner was run out on just 5 runs.
Ajinkya Rahane (c), the captain of KKR was not able to do much, as he scored just 18 runs off 15 balls. The other player not out was Angkrish Raghuvanshi, who scored 22 runs from 17 balls.
